of Technical Education, the country has 49 polytechnic institutes and 134
technical schools and colleges. Among them, 64 are old establishments, and in
the year 2021-22, 70 new technical schools and colleges have been established.
Additionally, there is an initiative to establish one technical school and
college in each sub-district in the near future.
Furthermore, HSC Vocational Education
has been initiated in 1,700 private institutions, and there are 302 private
institutions in the field of SSC Vocational Education.
